Eroded style onyx bud vase

Mars, but in the form of a stunning bud vase.

Vintage hand-carved onyx & agate by Peter Ellero & Son.

This piece was intentionally sourced despite several chipped areas (as seen). The imperfections was what stood out and resonated as it reminded me of the beds of eroded mineral-rich rock formations in Hverir, Iceland (peep some photos from my trip).
